HowTo: Fix – SCVMM doesn’t show hosts performance

The issue was that in the SCVMM console, the performance view was static, and didn’t show any changes at all.

Open a command prompt (Run as Administrator) and fire the following commands:

1) Lodctr /R (this will rebuild the perf counters from system backup store)
2) Winmgmt /resyncperf (this will register the system performance libraries with WMI)

The last thing we did, just to have everything straight, was to reinstall the SCVMM agent on the hosts.

Remove – and add the hosts to a host group in SCVMM.

Once this had completed, SCVMM reported hosts performance as expected.
